Let’s say that the 200-hp, 3.0-liter V-6 is hardly going to be considered a family car.

Nope. It’s just a two-door (hence the label “coupe”) Camry. I own a 2002 Solara and the insurance on it is quite reasonable.
Don’t know if they consider the convertible version a sports car, though…

It may be a “sporty” car but it’s NOT a sports car, which has only two seats, such as a Corvette.
